This policy explains what information the Yolks & Whites mobile app collects, how it is used, and how it is protected.
Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, phone number, delivery address and landmark — provided when you register or place an order.
- Google Sign-In: if you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from your Google account.
- Orders and subscriptions: the products you order, delivery schedule, payment method selected, and delivery status.
- Content you submit: recipes, photos, and ratings you choose to add within the app.
- Usage information: QR codes scanned within the app, and which magazine pages you view and for how long — used only to understand what content is popular, viewable by our admin team only.
- Push notification token: a device identifier used to send you order and delivery updates.
How we use this information
- To process and deliver your orders and subscriptions.
- To let you sign in and manage your account.
- To send you order status and delivery notifications.
- To understand which products, recipes, and magazine content customers find most useful, so we can improve them.
Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. Your delivery details are shared only with our own delivery riders for the purpose of fulfilling your order. We use Google Sign-In and Firebase Cloud Messaging (for push notifications) as service providers, subject to their own privacy policies.
Data retention
We retain account and order information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to comply with our legal and accounting obligations.
Your choices
You can update your profile information within the app at any time. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us using the details below.
Children's privacy
Yolks & Whites is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
